Team Member Credentials

HMS provides its clients with the top Association Managers in the industry.  Every HMS Association Manager has a minimum of a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation. These credentials mean that your board receives professional, knowledgeable, and reliable advice on all association matters.

HMS has five Association Managers on staff with PCAM designation, the highest achievement an individual can earn in the community management field. To qualify, the holder must earn the CMCA designation, as well as pass higher level coursework in the Professional Management Development Program. This manager is required to have at least five years of community association management experience. HMS encourages Association Managers to pursue continuing education, and advanced certification, because we know that a strong knowledge base leads to satisfied customers.

AAMC Accreditation

Although all managers in Georgia require licenses, few firms go beyond the minimum levels demanded by the state or set higher expectations for team member knowledge and competence. HMS is an Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC), one of only five in the state of Georgia. Each manager is recognized by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB), and over 50% of our managers hold advanced designations. As an Accredited Association Management Company, HMS and its employees can be counted on to always abide by the Standards of Professional Conduct set forth by NBC-CAM.

Community Association Institute

We are active members of the Community Association Institute (CAI), an organization that promotes education and ethics in our industry. HMS is proud to be part of the CAI Leadership Circle as well and supports our managers by fully covering their membership certification fees, and educational classes. In addition, our involvement in the CAI Helping Hands Committee allows our team an opportunity to participate in a number of non-profit projects throughout the year. HMS does everything possible to be sure each member of our staff has the skills, experience and integrity to help our communities flourish, and the drive to give back to those in need.

Best of Forsyth County

With all these achievements, you may find it surprising that the award we are most proud of is winning the “Best of Forsyth County” 2018 & 2019. This honor was bestowed upon us by our clients themselves. At the end of the day, there is no better measure of our success than happy associations!
